Import Fields
Here are the fields available for importing business records. The field name is the column title in your CSV file. If a field is not required, you can omit the column.

This field is useful when importing from another system that provides record IDs. When importing gifts, you can use the newly assigned businessID and the Import ID to correlate the donors. If text, maximum of 40 characters. This field is case sensitive. |
Sample Import
We will now run a sample business record import. Our CSV file has a header record and four data records. To begin, we select "Admin / Import / Business/Organization Records":
We select the CSV file on our computer:
We now click "Import File" to upload our CSV file:
In this example, we attempted to import a record with an improperly formated email address. Delightful Labor notifies us of the error and cancels the import.
We correct the error in our CSV file and try again:
The import is successful, and we are directed to the import log. We click on the view icon to examine the records just imported:
