The Donation Record
Gift
This section provides information about the donation itself.
- Gift ID - unique number assigned to this donation
- Amount - amount of donation and associated currency
- Date - date of donation, formatted to the user's preference (more info here)
- Account - selected from your list of accounts (more info here)
- Campaign - selected from your list of campaigns (more info here)
- Check # - optional check number
- Payment Type - selected from your list of payment types (more info here)
- Gift Category - selected from your list of gift categories (more info here)
- Attributed To - what would we do without Sally?
- In-Kind - if an in-kind donation, an entry from you list of in-kind donation types (more info here)
- Acknowledgement - status of the gift acknowledgement. You can change the status by clicking on the envelope icon ().
From the icons at the top, you can edit (), add new (), view donor's gift history (), or delete the donation ().
You can change the gift acknowledgement status by clicking on the envelope icon:
The gift now shows as being acknowledged.
Donor
In this section, you see information about the donor.
- Donor - name of the individual or business making the donation
- Donor Type - business or individual
- Address
- Phone
From this section you can view the donor's record ().
Honorariums and Memorials
This section shows any honorariums or memorials associated with the donation. From here you can add a new honorarium or memorial (), view the associated people records (), remove the honorarium/memorial (), or view the people record for the mail contact associated with a memorial ().

Personalized Tables
Any personalized tables you have defined for donations will appear in this section. To edit the personalized table, click the edit icon (). More information about personalizing your database can be found here.
Record Information
This section shows the record creation and update information. Note that this information applies the the parent record only (not personalized tables, reminders, etc).
