Gift Acknowledgements
Our non-profit, Go Freedonia, is conscientious about sending out gift acknowledgements to its generous donors. Delightful Labor offers several methods to help with this task.
There are actually three types of acknowledgements that are managed by Delightful Labor:
- gift acknowledgements - for those that made the donation
- honorariums - for gifts made in honor of an individual
- memorials - sent to the mail contact for an individual being memorialized
Delightful Labor provides a reports that shows gifts/honorariums/memorials that are not acknowledges. You can export this report as a CSV (spreadsheet) file, then use the file in a mail merge to generate personalized letters to your donors. The donations will be marked as "acknowledged", and will not appear in subsequent reports. To learn more about the acknowledgement reports, click here.
You can also mark a donation as acknowledged directly from the gift record. As shown here, you can click on the envelope icon
and the gift will be marked as acknowledged:
